Licensed Psychotherapist (Full Time and Part Time)
Move Therapy and Wellness is seeking a skilled licensed psychotherapists in the state of Maine and Illniois (LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.) with an additional background (certification or degree) in yoga, meditation, mindfulness, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy or nutrition/dietetics for full time and part time W2 positions to work with individual clients in our Chicago offices and in the state of Maine (currently hybrid). We are looking for motivated candidates who are excited about holistic health practices, mindfulness meditation, women’s issues, physical health and nutrition. We encourage individuals who are bilingual, POC and those who identify as LGBTQ+ to apply.
Ideal candidates have a background or additional certification/degree in yoga or nutrition.
Therapist must be willing to maintain a client caseload of 25+ per week for full time or a client caseload of 10+ per week for part time. Hours are flexible and based upon therapist’s availability and matched clients’ needs.
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Provides psychotherapy services to individuals and/or couples
- Designs and Facilitates workshops for small groups (yoga, mindfulness, meditation, nutrition, mind/body medicine, journaling, etc) if of interest
- Has experience in teaching/using mindfulness based strategies, MBCT, CBT and ACT
- Exhibits personal qualities, such as open-mindedness, enthusiasm, creativity and adaptability
- Possesses exceptional skills in writing, presentation, interpersonal relations, and communication
- Schedules initial appointments with referred clientele and manage changes in scheduling directly with clients
- Provides clients with resources as appropriate
- Submits end of day summary of services
- Maintains updated licensure and CAQH attestation
- Must be willing to work some evenings and weekend hours.

Graduate Intern (Second Year)
Move Therapy and Wellness is seeking two graduate level interns (Social Work and/or Clinical Mental Health Counseling) to work with individual adult clients and small groups in our Roscoe Village office space. We are looking for motivated students who have an interest in clinical counseling, holistic health practices, yoga, mindfulness meditation, women’s issues, integrative mental health practice.
Responsibilities/Requirements
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Ability to maintain patient privacy at all times
- Desire to work in outpatient mental health setting
- Completed coursework related to treatment for young adults/adults, group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, or dialectical behavior therapy
- Second year or advanced placement students preferred
- Interest and/or experience in holistic health, body based approaches to mental health (ie. yoga, meditation, nutrition, EFT, EMDR, etc).
- Ability to work some evening hours
- Ability to work in our Roscoe Village space (some virtual work permitted)
Description
- We are seeking motivated students to learn and grow within our integrative mental health practice. This position will be located in our Chicago Roscoe Village office, and is available to students in the 2022-2023 internship year of a second year Master level clinical program (social work, clinical mental health counseling).
- If you are passionate about holistic mental health practices and have an interest in integrative mental health and body based approaches to clinical counseling, you would be a great fit on our team.
- Weekly Schedule: To be determined in conjunction with program
- Supervision: Provided by individuals with the following credentials: LCSW, LCPC, PhD, PsyD
- Attend individual and/or group supervision weekly (1 hour total) as well as monthly whole team consultation.
- Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions in outpatient setting to an individual caseload of young adult/adult clients
- Aid in development and facilitation of process and/or support groups
- Complete intakes for potential new clients
- Compete progress notes and treatment plan updates
- Participate in discharge planning and HLOC referrals for clients when appropriate (outpatient providers, follow up care, transition back to school)
- Attend weekly program planning meeting
- Interns will be expected to be active participants in setting goals and expectations for their internship year, as well as able to complete the training activities and job functions as listed above
