Healing Chronic Stress and Trauma Through The Lens Of Dance Movement Therapy

"The American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA) defines dance/movement therapy as the psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote emotional, social, cognitive and physical integration of the individual."
 
Join Move Psychotherapist and Dance/Movement Therapist Johanna Hayes for a Trauma Informed Dance Movement Therapy workshop. In this workshop we will address the impact of trauma and chronic stress on the mind, body and spirit. We will explore the connection between mind and body and the importance of making your body an ally in the healing process.
 
Throughout this workshop you will learn tools for engaging the body in your healing process and for strengthening the connection between your mind and body.  
 
This workshop will offer education, tools, techniques, and experiential learning.
Open to anyone who lives with chronic stress, is a trauma survivor, and their support people. This workshop is also suitable for anyone interested in exploring dance movement therapy.
